12 Weeks Old

Well, I have been informed that I have been slacking off in the new posts department, so since I have not put one of these together in about 3 months and Mommy is so busy now that she is back to school, I guess I will try to hold up my end of the bargain. So here are some of my recent faves.

Emmers is starting to grab at things so here is a display of one of her newest talents. She has even grabbed her bottle with both hands and shoved it in her mouth at feeding time

11 Weeks Old

Emerson turned 11 weeks old on Tuesday and she celebrated by sleeping through the night for the first time! She had been sleeping 6-7 hours between feedings, but last night she slept for 9! We were so excited (and well-rested)! Here are some pictures from the past week:


Emerson has decided she enjoys tummy time on her Boppy pillow much better than on the floor.












She's getting better at holding up her head!













She's smiling more each day (we're just not always quick enough to catch it with the camera)!










Emmie has already learned how to pull Mom's long hair...but it's getting chopped tomorrow! I hope she still recognizes me!

10 Weeks Old

Emerson turned 10 weeks old yesterday, which means Mom only has 2 more weeks at home with her before returning to work. It helps knowing that I'll only be working a few months and then I'll have all summer with her! I'm sure she'll be even more fun then! We've been getting lots more smiles each day from Emmie and she's making the cutest noises! We're loving this and we feel so blessed to be her parents!


Aunt Nina braved a snowstorm to come visit last week!













Emerson has decided she likes to help out with feedings.

2 Months Old

Emerson had her 2 month check-up today! She now weighs 11 lbs. 14 oz. and is 22 1/2 in. (both are 50th percentile). Her head is still large (90th percentile!). We think she must have a big brain. She got a shot today and only cried a little (I think it was harder on me) But she's growing like a weed and is very healthy! She sleeps for about 5-7 hours between feedings at night, which we are loving! Here are some recent pictures:
