Surgery

Emerson had a follow-up appointment with her ear, nose, and throat specialist about a month ago.  After examining her and administering a hearing test, he recommended that she get a second set of tubes put in her ears and have her adenoids removed.  She had surgery this morning and amazed us all!  She entertained everyone in the hospital, was all smiles and extremely cooperative right up til surgery time.  The surgery went extremely well (and quick!)  In the recovery room, she was snuggling on my lap, talking (actually ordering her cousins around), and eating a popsicle.  When the nurse checked on us, Emerson told her "I'm ready to go home now" :-)  She is such a trooper!
